A cold but sunny morning on the Trent in February finally saw the reuniting of the Derwent/Leicester composite 4x (comfortable winners of Vet C at Veteran Henley 2006). Having raced without Jilly in the Tideway Veteran Fours Head they had narrowly missed the Vet C pennant by 2 seconds to Durham ARC.

Even though there was no Veteran 4 x event the crew decided to race with the youngsters in Sen II meeting, yet again, Durham ARC. This time a clean but hard scull saw the women not only beating their veteran rivals but winning the Sen II category overall beating the 2nd placed crew York by a comfortable 9 seconds.
