New Landing Stage Dedicated to Lewis Hancock

('A true genius of the stage.')

On Saturday 23rd September members attended a dedication of the new staging to designer and builder Lewis Hancock.

After what has been a marathon spanning several months of back breaking work Lewis completed the new staging to the club's delight in June this year.

In order to show a lasting appreciation of his work and commitment to design a commemorative plaque was made and incorporated into the staging.

Champagne flowed as the staging was dedicated officially to Derwent's genius of the 'stage'.
