The inner city rowing taster sessions have now started and are going very well.

These are through local network funding, enabling a large number of inner city children to be given the opportunity to experience rowing for the first time.

All individual participants will undertake a swim test and will then have the opportunity to do 5 weeks of taster sessions leading to an inter schools regatta in July.

The schools to benefit are: Sinfin, Derby Moor, Murray Park, St. Benedict's, Lees Brook, DaVinci, St. Claires, Littleover and Derby College.

It is hoped that these sessions shall lead into continued participation and improved school club links.
